2026 Live Cover Stallion Service — Nuksay

The 2026 live cover breeding season runs from April 6 through August 30, 2026.

All bookings are made through our Acuity self-serve scheduling system, giving mare owners control over choosing an available slot.

Quick Facts (Read Before Booking)

- Breeding Season: April 6 – August 30, 2026

- Booking Method: Self-serve via Acuity (no pre-assigned weeks — you choose your week)

- Reservation Type: A full week slot, giving flexibility for heat timing

- Mare Arrival: Arrive 2–3 days before the start of your booked week for teasing and monitoring

- Covers: Three consecutive live covers performed during the week, timed to your mare’s standing heat

- Flexibility: If heat starts late, we adjust if possible or move to the next available week

- Clinic Days: Certain days within the season are blocked for semen collection

- Rest Days: Stallion rest days are scheduled as needed for health and semen quality

How Our Week Slot Booking Works

Step 1 – Reserve Your Week
Choose an available week slot in our Acuity calendar. The week you choose is reserved for your mare, but exact breeding days within that week depend on when she is in standing heat.

Step 2 – Sign Contracts (via Email)
You will receive our Breeding Contract and Boarding Contract by email. Please complete and sign them.

Step 3 – Pay Booking Fee
You will then receive an invoice to pay the booking fee. (Remaining balance is due at drop-off.)

Step 4 – Arrange Arrival
Bring your mare to the farm 2–3 days before the start of your booked week so teasing and monitoring can begin.

Step 5 – Breeding
Once your mare is confirmed in standing heat, we will perform three consecutive live covers during your booked week.

Step 6 – If Heat Is Late
If your mare’s cycle runs past your booked week, we will adjust within the stallion’s availability

Facility & Care

Mares stay in a paddock box during their visit. We provide safe handling, professional mare management, and a well-maintained environment designed for safe live cover.

- Hay: Provided 3x daily and included in the daily rate.

- Grain & Supplements: Owner-supplied (we will feed according to your instructions).

- Cleaning: Daily stall cleaning included.

Boarding Rate: $30/day (mare only).

Foal at Side: + $10/day additional.
